FOSTER OR ADOPT
Mew Haven, Inc., is an all volunteer non-profit cat rescue organization dedicated to the rescue, foster care and re-homing of homeless, injured or neglected cats. We are based in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
We lovingly foster all animals in our own homes, and are always looking for new volunteers to foster cats while they await adoption — or to adopt and provide a forever home!
Mew Haven also has a never-ending wishlist since we pay for items for the animals out of our own pockets: Friskies wet food, litter, toys, cat condos, etc. We are willing to take any good used items as well.
Click here for our Facebook Fundraising Event to help Mew Haven to raise money to help assist with our Veterinary bills, food and cat litter costs. All donations made are tax deductible!

Daphne and Bindy reside in the same foster home and
have been lovingly raised by the same foster mom.
Daphne is a lovely 1 year old beautiful all grey girl that is incredibly loveable and social with the other foster kitties in the home. She just became available and we are waiting on her professional photos and her bio to be written but in the meantime her foster mom caught her in a photo with one of her favorite pastimes of watching birds outside in her CAT TV bedroom window. Like most domestic shorthair all grey female kitties they are absolutely sweet sweet gentle cats and do well on their own as a single cat or with another gentle male kitty companion buddy. Daphne is UTD on Vaccines and is negative for FIV/FeLV.
Bindy is a bit over 7 years old and is a petite little kitty. She has an endearing little squawky meow that is barely hearable at any distance. She is healthy, happy, eats well, and loves to help her foster mom with all her computer work, especially in her position directly in front of the monitor — where she can always give kitty lick kisses!
Bindy is our little FIV girl but gets along well with the other household cats and loves to play chase with them. She loves to watch the squirrels & birds from the safety of the screened porch and can spend literally all day out there. But as with all or our kitties, that is the only "outside" she experiences. All MH cats are indoor only
Please consider adopting Daphne or Bindy today!

When looking to adopt a first or companion kitty for an existing kitty at home, here is the basic guidelines of their age progression. Many people look to adopt a "kitten" which is actually a "baby in human years" and will require all the maintenance of "kitten proofing" of the home no different than "baby proofing" of the home. A one or two year old kitty is just a teenager or young adult, is very playful and young at heart.
