Barnaby is almost all satiny black, except for a few white hairs randomly scattered around his thick short fur coat.  His eyes are a beautiful light gold and when he looks at you with those loving eyes...your heart will melt!

 

Almost 2 years old and growing strong...Barnaby was rescued outside in the late winter after this little soldier took refuge in an old barn. It took several days of setting out food to lure him into a live-trap. We have no idea what his prior life was, but now we can attest...this boy is a little love! He readily comes readily when called, gets along with other cats, is loving and social, and is happy to play by himself or be next to you. He is truly the sweetest kitty and so ready to have that one special home to call his own.

Barnaby has come a long way from the frightened hungry kitty found in a rural barn in 2016.   He is now at home in a multicat household & gets along well with both males & females. We don't know how he would react to children and dogs but given his congenial attitude, we are pretty certain that he would be fine given the proper introductions. 

 

Barnaby loves to sit next to his foster person on the sofa or on her lap & will indulge in mutual wash sessions with one or two of the other cats.   His appetite is good and his coat is much healthier than it was when he first came into rescue due to a good diet & less stress.
